Mornings can be so rushed, we often don’t take the time to have a healthy and nutritious breakfast. Here is an easy recipe you can prepare in advance. Make a few jars and store in your cupboard so they are ready and you can catch a few extra minutes of sleep!
1/2 cup Instant oats
1/4 cup Freeze-dried fruit
1 tablespoon flax or chia seeds
1 tablespoon sugar, maple sugar or banana powder
1 tablespoon coconut milk powder or powdered milk (optional)
In a 250ml mason jar, combine all ingredients. Store in your cupboard until ready to eat.
To make the oatmeal, simply pour boiling water in the mason jar, stirring to make sure all ingredients are wet. Wait 4 minutes and it’s ready!
Pour water in the oatmeal cup the night before you wish to consume it. Stir to make sure all ingredients are wet. Leave in fridge overnight. Breakfast is ready!
